A Message from your Board

Due to recent legal council, the Board finds itself forced to disband ALL committees. This legal advise affects all HOA's whose Bylaws do not specifically address the purpose, scope and composition of EACH committee set up by the Board and/or membership. Article VII is the Bylaw in question and will be the focus of immediate revision by the Board for membership vote as soon as possible.

Many thanks to The Hiawatha Corp. for their gracious donation ofwreaths and garland during the holidays. Thanks to the Youth for help in decorating.

John Keates, from the County Parks and Rec., spoke at our last Board meeting , regarding improving Jacoby Park. The County has budgeted for improvements and would like to begin projects after April this year. There is a questionnaire in the office or online if the membership would like to contribute their thoughts.

The website now has two themes for you to choose from:

1. js_jamba - is the theme that you have seen for the last several months and works fine on most hi-speed internet connectons.  Leave it here if you are not experiencing any problems with loading the web pages.
2. rt_afterburner_j15 - this theme should load faster on slower or dial-up connections.  There is one limitation when using this theme, the slideshows do not work in the Gallery.

Chose one of the themes from the dropdown list on the right side of the page and you should be set until you clean out your cookies.
